Handmade goat milk soaps are rich in skin-loving ingredients such as sunflower and olive oils and of course goat's milk!
My soap recipe is simple - no fancy swirls, no artificial colors, just a few simple wholesome ingredients blended together to make a hefty bar of creamy goat milk soap.
Be good to your skin and bathe often in goat milk soap!
Winter Pine - cool, fir, balsam, pine, refreshing
Benefits of sea salt in soap - high in minerals, naturally and gently detoxifies and exfoliates the skin, makes a harder longer lasting bar of soap with a creamy lather.
INGREDIENTS -
COCONUT OIL - (Cocos Nucifera) for tons of lather
SUNFLOWER OIL - (Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil) for large amounts of skin-loving essential fatty acids and Vit. E
OLIVE OIL - (Olea Europaea Oil) for creamy lather and hardness of bar
PURE WATER - distilled water
GOAT MILK - the capric-caprylic triglycerides special to goat's milk protect skin from moisture loss and increases skin's softness. Goat milk is also rich in Vit. A, D,
and B6 as well as the antioxidant Selenium. Outpost's goat milk is Minnesota-produced pasteurized milk from happy goats that are raised with no antibiotics and no growth hormones.
LYE - (Sodium Hydroxide) because without it you don't have soap. Ok, more specifically lye, when mixed with fats and oils, creates a chemical reaction that
produces soap:)
SEA SALT - sodium chloride
ESSENTIAL OIL - Pine (abies sibirica)
Each cold-processed, hand-cut bar weighs 5 oz. at cutting.
Handmade soap should be allowed to dry between uses, this will greatly extend the life of your bar.
